Do you want to be more comfortable at networking events?  

Do you want to brush up on your networking skills after the isolation of the past few years?

According to CNBC, "up to 70% of all jobs are not published on publicly available job search sites, and research has long shown that anywhere from half to upwards of 80% of jobs are filled through networking." 

This 45-minute interactive session will give you tips for planning, attending, and following up on business-related events. There will also be time for questions during the last 15 minutes of our hour together.

About the Facilitator: 

COURTNEY J. WALSH Senior Executive | Change Management, Strategy & Innovation

Courtney Walsh has built her career as an expert in delivering dramatic gains in revenue and profitability by providing inspiring leadership for core change management and strategic initiatives.

Ms. Walsh recently was selected to serve as the Assistant Dean of the Office of Professional & Executive Development at The University at Buffalo. In this capacity, she oversees initiatives for working professionals including the design of non-credit and micro-credentialing programs.

Her early career encompassed such roles as Director of Marketing for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, Studio Arena Theatre as the Marketing Director and worked in sales at Delaware North Companies.

Ms. Walsh holds a MBA from the University at Buffalo, a B.S. in Management and Marketing from Ithaca College, and various professional certifications. She is active within the non-profit, business, and academic sectors, serving in multiple board positions.
